New House Remodel

We traveled back to Milton-Freewater the week before Memorial Day weekend to work on remodeling our house (mainly on our kitchen). My dad and his wife joined us to help out. Here are the highlights of what we worked on: we replaced the kitchen window, took out the sliding glass door and replaced it with a single french-style door, put in all the cabinetry, painted bedrooms, including ceilings, pulled out carpet in bedrooms, and laid slate tile in the kitchen. Here are pictures of the kitchen.
New cabinets... So exciting!

Preston loves to find things to do in the mist of any remodeling project... like climbing a ladder

Some of the new slate is down!

This part will have the range here and then it will be a bar that we will be able to sit at once the counter tops are in

The slate needs to be cleaned, sealed and grouted but it is down!

Our wall with pantries, fridge, microwave and the new door is on the far right of the picture
