Catching up ... pictures from August and September

For Labor Day, we took a long weekend and went back to Milton-Freewater. We always have a wonderful visit with Carl's grandparents, dad and siblings and friends. Carl's mom also came down and went to the fair with us. We had a great time watching the horse races and the animals. Preston liked the horses and he also clapped for the tractors when they went by.

Here are a few of Preston and Carl golfing together in our backyard and of them working in the garage. Preston loves to be just like his daddy.







My mom's birthday was in August and we were able to celebrate with her. Preston loved helping his Grammy blow out the candles on her cake!

Our garden

This year, Carl built some raised beds for our vegetable/ fruits to grow. Here are some pictures of our garden, which was filled mostly with tomato plants, jalapeños, serano chiles, green peppers, zucchini, and cucumbers. Preston loved picking the tomatoes, whether they were ripe or not.

We were able to visit our friends Kurt and Katie and their daughter Ella, who is just 6 months older than Preston. We had a nice visit and here are a few pictures.

In August we went to visit Carl's siblings and our nieces and nephews. We also were able to meet our newest nephew, Jet. Preston had such a wonderful time with Keagan and Kelsee. It was so much fun to see the babies. Jet is just a few weeks old in these pictures and Taylor is 6 months old. Preston is so lucky to have so many wonderful cousins. We can't wait to see them again in just a few weeks!!!

Family reunion

Well, I am still slow to catch up on my blogging! Anyway, we went to my family reunion at the beginning of August and we had a great time visiting for the afternoon.
