Still Catching up! February trip to McCall, ID

In February, we went to McCall, ID, where we took Preston downhill skiing for the first time. He loved it and skied the whole day! The boys also had a lot of fun playing in the snow. It was such a nice trip with Carl's dad, brother and sister!

February...Getting our Teeth Cleaned

Here is a picture of Preston right before he got his teeth cleaned. He was so excited to go to Daddy's office to get them cleaned!

My New Niece

On February 17, my niece Isla Maran was born so we quickly drove over to meet her. She is amazing!!!

February .... Construction

In February, Carl added recessed lights to our kitchen, and in our basement. He also added pendant lights over our bar. In the kitchen, there was one light hanging over the fridge, so he changed it to a row of three recessed lights. We did not have any lighting over our bar. This room is very light from the big windows during the day, but it has been so nice to have more light at night! And in the basement, there were no overhead lights, so we were happy to get rid of the lamps and have a room with recessed lights that we can dim. Thank goodness for my handy husband!

Preston's birthday

On Preston's actual birthday, we had a nice little celebration. Carl's family came and joined us for cake and we also had pizza (Preston's favorite) for dinner.

Preston's first skis (January 2013)

This year we decided to take Preston downhill skiing for the first time! Here he is trying out his new skis. He loved skiing and skied the whole day!

For Christmas, Santa brought Preston his own workbench and here he is using his bench and tools to "help" his Daddy. I think he looks adorable in his "work" outfit!
