Christmas

Although we were hoping for a little snow that everyone else in the state has, we unfortunately did not get a white Christmas, but we still had a great time opening presents at Mandy's house and then having Christmas dinner at our house.

On Christmas Eve, we decided to decorate our sugar cookies. We might not be the most talented bunch of cookie decorators, but we had a good time!

Although this is long overdue... here are a few pictures of the baby shower at my mom's house that we had on November 22. Thank to all of you for coming and making it such a special day! Also, thank you so much for all the wonderful gifts!

Our nursery

We have finally got our office cleared out, which allowed us to finish painting this last weekend. We also got our crib put together and I threw the bedding on it so we could see how it looks. I will have more pictures as we finish putting in the rest of the furniture and decorations.

Well finally I am adding the before and after pictures to our gas stove replacement with a gas fireplace. You might have seen our pictures of the gas stove and our wall being built but here is the actual before and after pictures. We think it was a big improvement (along with the wood floors we put in).

7 months pregnant!

Well, I am already into my 7th month. I am 29 weeks along now. I cannot believe we only have 11 weeks left! I am still feeling wonderful and the baby is moving all the time. He is getting much bigger too. We had an ultrasound on Monday and he is over 2 pounds now. I am starting to go to my doctor every two weeks which is so much fun because I get to hear the babies heart beat and my doctor is wonderful!

Painting our house

Well our awful house color is starting to disappear!! Carl worked on painting the outside of our house. He always does so much work on our house which I know is a lot of work for him, but it sure makes our house look lovely. The new blue with white trim looks so nice and I love my new outside lights. Carl has only finished a little less than half our house, but now it is raining so we will have to wait for nice weather again. Until then, we will enjoy the freshly painted parts of our house.

Carving pumpkins

Mandy and Lucy came over and we carved pumpkins which is always a fun experience. Carl didn't get a chance to carve his pumpkin since he was playing Tiger Woods golf. Lucy didn't love being put inside a pumpkin, but she sure looked cute! Lucy and Dallas always have so much fun as they play. You can see Lucy attempting to bite Dallas' face....

Logan Henry...

Carl had tickets to see the OSU game so Carl and I were able to go up and see our favorite Baranick family. It was so much fun to see Logan and how big he is in just 1 month from when we last saw him. He is so cute! Terri and Scott are wonderful parents! Terri, Logan and I were able to go to the Farmer's market and we also did some shopping while Carl and Scott went to the Beaver game. We definitely miss living close to Terri and Scott (and of course, now Logan too).
